Patterns and Prints
Last week, I spent the afternoon at the Josef Frank exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum surrounded by botanical print paradise, the perfect way to spend the day.
Josef Frank was a textile designer who immigrated to Sweden in the 1930s, and came to embody the typical mid-century Scandinavian modernist style in interior design. The exhibition features textiles, textile designs, rugs and some of his private watercolour paintings.
I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibition, so far, it's been one of my favourites this year. Although I don't specialise in printed textiles yet, I have a strong passion and love for it, especially within interior design. There were so many beautiful things to capture, in the space of a few hours, which resulted in an overflow of images, as you can see.
