I woke up this morning, pulled my curtain and saw it was rather grey, within half an hour, it started raining. My first thoughts were, how productive can I make my day, without it going to waste?
This past week, I have been busy sewing, visiting fabric shops, sewing samples, and briefly dipping into pattern cutting, I’ll talk about that more in a later blog post. My motto for sewing has always been, ‘quality over quantity’ I haven’t sewn a huge amount of things, but, the quality of my sewing is whats important especially at the sampling stage
.At present, on my sewing table I have a printed viscose jersey fabric, I purchased it this week and I’m hoping to turn into a maxi dress (maxi dresses are my favourite things to wear during the summer) the print along stood out to me, as it was the last amount on the roll I had to buy it. I also stopped in Cloth House one of my favourite shops and collected some fabric samples for a few more dresses I plan on creating for the summer.
